Check and supervise the payment of pensions, social insurance and unemployment benefits according to the 2-level government model

On July 5, Social Insurance Region XXV (Lam Dong) organized a delegation to inspect and supervise the payment of pensions, social insurance and unemployment benefits according to the 2-level government model.

Mr. Dang Hong Tuan - Director of Social Insurance Region XXV directly consulted on voluntary social insurance policy for people at the payment point of Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat.

The working delegation includes leaders of Social Insurance Region XXV and representatives of Social Insurance Regime, Planning - Finance; Propaganda and Participant Support Departments.

In order to increase the effectiveness of pension and social insurance benefits payment and improve the quality of service to the people, Mr. Dang Hong Tuan - Director of Social Insurance Region XXV went directly to pension and social insurance benefits payment points to promptly listen to people's opinions. This activity took place in the context that Social Insurance Region XXV is implementing a plan to inspect and supervise pension and social insurance benefits payment in July 2025 according to the 2-level local government model.

The purpose is to inspect and monitor the implementation of monthly pension, social insurance and unemployment insurance payments according to the 2-level government model to promptly grasp and detect existing problems and propose appropriate solutions to ensure that the payment of social insurance policies for beneficiaries is increasingly better. Thereby, informing new points of the Law on Social Insurance and Health Insurance in 2024; At the same time, mobilizing beneficiaries to choose the form of receiving pensions and subsidies through personal accounts (ATM).

During one day, the working group visited the payment points at the Hall of Quarter 20 (No. 28 Nguyen Luong Bang, Xuan Huong Ward, Lam Dong Province) and the payment point of Tu Phuoc Commune Cultural Post Office (99 Hung Vuong, Lam Vien Ward, Lam Dong Province) to inspect and supervise.

During the inspection, Mr. Dang Hong Tuan - Director of Social Insurance Region XXV said: "We pay special attention to encourage beneficiaries to choose to receive pensions and benefits through personal accounts (ATM) to increase safety and convenience. The advantages of receiving pensions through ATM accounts include convenience, speed, safety, and avoiding the risk of losing cash... This also contributes to promoting the payment of social insurance benefits through non-cash payment methods, aiming to achieve the goals set by the industry".

To ensure the payment process is smooth and convenient for the people, Mr. Dang Hong Tuan requested the Provincial Post Office to provide specific, clear and transparent information about the time, location, benefits, and amount received by the beneficiary. For cash payments, the pension and social insurance benefits of the beneficiary must be placed in an envelope to demonstrate solemnity, transparency and professionalism in the payment process...

In an effort to promote payments through personal accounts, Social Insurance of Region XXV also actively cooperates with local banks, encouraging banks to create favorable conditions and support people who need to open ATM accounts to receive pensions and social insurance benefits. This is an important step in modernizing payment work, bringing many benefits to beneficiaries.

This activity demonstrates the determination of Social Insurance of Region XXV in continuously improving service quality, bringing the highest satisfaction to people and ensuring that social security benefits are fully and promptly implemented.

The delegation monitors the spirit and attitude of serving pension recipients at the payment point in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat.

It is known that in the first 6 months of 2025, the Social Insurance of Region XXV has paid social insurance and unemployment insurance benefits with more than 3.3 billion VND. Notably, the rate of beneficiaries receiving money via ATM accounts in urban areas has reached 83.51%; of which, monthly pension and social insurance benefits have reached 73.97% (28,531 people/38,570 people). In July, the Social Insurance of the region has, is and will pay monthly pension and social insurance benefits to 54,738 people, with an amount of 362.2 billion VND; of which, payment via ATM is for 38,277 people (69.93%) with an amount of 274.6 billion VND, the remaining 16,461 people receive cash with an amount of 87.6 billion VND.
