Tourists enjoy visiting the Spring Eco- tourism Area.
Spread over an area of 130 hectares, the Spring Eco-tourism Area stands out with its vast cajuput forests, interwoven canals and rich ecosystem. In addition to preserving the green color of the forest, birds, storks and freshwater aquatic products here are also protected, so they live very stably and increase in number every year. Currently, there are about 20,000 individuals of 90 bird species residing here such as snail storks, white-throated herons, white storks, cuckoos, teals, herons, and sen...; and there are many species of fish.
Coming to the Spring Eco-tourism Area, visitors will feel the typical beauty of the countryside in the Southwest region when walking or cycling through the forest, on roads shaded by native trees such as cajuput, mangrove, water coconut, wild tamarind, and bottle gourd...

Mr. Phan Van Dem, Director of Southern Tourism Investment Joint Stock Company, the co-manager of the Spring Eco-tourism Area, said that they are coordinating the management and exploitation of the tourist area based on the available natural foundation, without affecting or impacting the current status. Tourists like the atmosphere here because of the green trees, cool breeze, and fresh air.
Every month, the Spring Ecotourism Area welcomes from 1,500 to more than 3,000 visitors, including many foreign visitors. Many visitors are surprised that with just a small boat gliding gently through the green duckweed carpets, they can admire flocks of birds flying, their chirping like a harmony of nature. Visiting with his family, Mr. Jarolav, a tourist from the Czech Republic, shared: "It feels very pleasant and wonderfully relaxing, because everything here retains its wild and lush appearance."
Not only sightseeing by boat, visitors can gently step onto the 150m long bridge made from cajuput and bamboo trunks crossing the tree canopy, or climb up the nearly 20m high observation tower to see the whole view of the tourist area. From above, the whole view of the green cajuput forest, the vast rice fields and flocks of birds flying back to their nests at sunset creates a rare peaceful scene.
In the middle of the vast sky and earth, admiring the vast green color with your own eyes and listening to the birds chirping, visitors feel as if all their fatigue and worries have been washed away. Coming to the tourist area, tourist Nguyen Minh Hai from Ho Chi Minh City was impressed by the rich fruit garden and rustic dishes typical of the West such as grilled snakehead fish, fish sauce hotpot, braised eel with Vietnamese coriander...
“This is my first time coming to the Spring Eco-tourism Area. I have enjoyed the fresh air and unique experiences, so I plan to come back here to explore many more times. I will introduce to my relatives and friends the interesting and attractive things of this place so that everyone can come and experience it,” Minh Hai shared.
Coming to the Spring Eco-tourism Area, visitors can immerse themselves in a green world, enjoy the pure atmosphere of the river region, and temporarily put aside all daily worries. And perhaps, it is this simplicity and primitiveness that makes this land so irresistible.
