On the morning of July 2, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong and his delegation inspected the grading of the 2025 high school graduation exam in Bac Ninh province.
Absolute security and safety of the exam marking area
Reporting to the inspection team, Mr. Bach Dang Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province said that regarding the exam marking work, in Bac Giang ward - the Examination Council of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Giang province (old) organized a marking area to mark essay tests and multiple choice tests located at the Center for ContinuingEducation - Foreign Languages, Information Technology of Bac Giang province (facility 2).
In the exam marking area, there are separate areas for marking, marking and the Secretariat's working area; there is a plan to ensure security and safety. The essay marking rooms, multiple-choice marking rooms, test storage rooms and the Secretariat's working room all have security cameras to monitor and record all activities for management purposes.

“The examination council has fully prepared facilities, equipment, computers, exam scanners, servers, workstations, printers, local LAN system, stationery, personnel participating in marking the exam and ensuring security and safety of the marking area, exam marking area; fire prevention and fighting equipment... and contingency plans for other unusual situations...”- Mr. Khoa informed.
At the Center for Continuing Education - Foreign Languages, Information Technology of Bac Giang province (address of the new Bac Giang ward), the total number of personnel participating in directing and organizing the exam marking: 266 people, including the Examination Council with 9 members; the Examination Board leadership with 6 members; the Secretariat with 19 members; the Marking Board with 11 members; the Multiple-choice test marking team with 24 members; the Multiple-choice test marking supervisor with 2 members; the Essay test marking team with 180 members; the Inspection Scoring Team with 15 members. The Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province emphasized that the cabinets and boxes containing the test papers are locked and sealed according to regulations. The test marking room is sealed for each marking session according to regulations and regulations for the 2025 graduation exam.
Bac Ninh plans to complete the scoring of essay tests on July 7 and multiple-choice tests on July 10 and announce the overall scores of the entire Bac Ninh province (new) according to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the inspection, Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong - Director of the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training) emphasized a number of important requirements such as: the marking process must be carried out very carefully, especially in ensuring the accuracy in the marking process of the two General Education Programs 2018 and 2006.
The Bac Ninh Provincial Examination Council needs to proactively coordinate and promptly discuss with the Ministry of Education and Training to resolve difficulties and problems arising in the process of implementing tasks. In particular, the Director noted the need to absolutely ensure the safety and confidentiality of information, especially before the official score announcement. In addition, the score entry must be carried out accurately, with smooth coordination between departments, to avoid errors, ensure the rights of candidates and maintain the seriousness and transparency of the exam.
After inspecting the exam marking site in Bac Giang ward (Bac Ninh province), Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong highly appreciated the material facilities at the council, meeting the requirements and creating favorable conditions for teachers.
The Deputy Minister sent his best wishes to all officers and teachers on duty at the exam marking locations, and emphasized the need to strictly maintain discipline in speech, ensuring consistency and standards during the exam marking process.
Working with the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Bac Ninh province, the Deputy Minister highly appreciated the leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province (formerly Bac Ninh and Bac Giang) for being proactive, responsible and timely in organizing the exam marking. In particular, they promptly advised the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province to complete the Steering Committee and the Exam Marking Committee in the context of having to reorganize administrative units.
The Deputy Minister assessed that on July 1, Bac Ninh (new) left no gaps or interruptions, and the exam marking activities were maintained. Bac Ninh has completed the Exam Marking Council and the Provincial Exam Marking Steering Committee with a very proactive and responsible spirit. Among them, there is a very important role of the head of the Bac Ninh education sector.
Regarding professional work, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong expressed that Bac Ninh is following the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Along with ensuring that the exam marking is done according to the process and plan, the Deputy Minister also requested that the members in charge and the secretariat work need to be strictly controlled and make summary reports for each working session. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to detecting unusual signs such as a large number of exam papers with unusually high or too low scores, thereby promptly reviewing and considering technical steps to detect and correct errors (if any), with the spirit of putting the interests of candidates first.

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, the whole Bac Giang province (old) has 24,053 candidates taking the exam (of which the number of candidates registered for the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program: 23,717, according to the 2006 General Education Program: 336; total number of independent candidates: 498) with 43 exam locations; 1,049 exam rooms. Number of essay exams: 23,792 (of which according to the 2018 General Education Program: 23,577, according to the 2006 General Education Program: 215). Number of multiple-choice exams: 71,253 (of which according to the 2018 General Education Program: 70,456, according to the 2006 General Education Program: 797). Meanwhile, Bac Ninh province (old) has 19,652 candidates registered for the exam, of which the number of candidates for the 2018 General Education Program is 19,381 candidates...
According to the assessment of the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Bac Giang (old) and Bac Ninh (old) provinces, the exam took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
