BHG - After 2 days of taking the exam, from June 26 to 27, the candidates of the province completed the 2025 High School Graduation Exam with a serious spirit, confidence and high determination. At the exam sites, the atmosphere was safe and in accordance with the regulations. The smiles after the exam, the anxious eyes waiting for the results, the words of encouragement between teachers, parents and friends brought about a range of emotions about an exam season with many expectations.

The test is close to reality, expanding thinking
On the first day of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the mild weather seemed to boost the spirit of the candidates. On the morning of June 26, the students officially "passed the gate" with the first subject being Literature. The Literature exam reflected the spirit of innovation in teaching and learning to help students form a system of reading comprehension skills, thinking, feeling, and discussing issues about literature and life. Candidates said that the exam was very close, practical, and topical, revolving around the theme of love for the homeland, country, and the noble ideals of youth. Many students were confident that they would get 7 points or more in Literature.
On the same afternoon, candidates took the Math test for 90 minutes. With multiple choice format, this year's exam has a high level of differentiation. The first questions are suitable for average and above average students, ensuring the goal of graduation. The following questions have increasing difficulty, including probability, optimization, and arithmetic progression problems, which are difficult to score. Student Luc Anh Duy, Le Hong Phong High School ( Ha Giang city) said: "With the exam requiring solid knowledge, quick and accurate thinking, I tried very hard to do well but thought I would only get about 5 - 6 points."

On June 27, candidates studying under the 2018 GeneralEducation Program took 2 elective subjects in the morning to complete the exam; candidates studying under the 2006 General Education Program took 1 of 2 combined exams in the morning and a Foreign Language in the afternoon to complete the exam. On the last day of the high school graduation exam, there was rain in the province, but candidates overcame difficulties to arrive at the exam room on time. Candidates who lived far from the exam location were arranged to stay there from the day before. After finishing the elective subjects, many candidates left the exam room in an excited mood.
Commenting on this year's exam, candidate Do Anh Duc, Ha Giang High School for the Gifted, shared: "In the optional exam, the English subject was quite long and had some difficult questions, but I completed my exam. I found all the subjects new, but I did the best in Math and English. I guess I will get 7 - 8.5 points, which can create a breakthrough for university admission. I hope I will have enough points to pass the National Economics University as I wish."

Maintain discipline, accompany with responsibility
Along with the efforts of the candidates are the careful preparation and responsible support of the forces throughout the exam days. At all exam sites in the province, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police were arranged to be on duty early to ensure security and order, regulate traffic and support candidates and parents. Despite the heavy rain, the soldiers did not hesitate to work hard, patiently performing their duties, avoiding congestion during rush hours before and after each exam. "When reinforcing the exam site of Ha Giang Specialized High School, our highest priority is to prevent any situations from interrupting the exam, and not let any candidates be absent due to traffic reasons" - Major Hoang Van Tuyen, Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police said.
The most impressive and touching image is the image of the green volunteer shirts. Not only in the city, many examination sites in mountainous districts with difficult travel conditions such as Dong Van, Meo Vac, Yen Minh, Quan Ba ... the union members and youth have coordinated with local authorities to organize the pick-up and drop-off of candidates, support free motorbike taxis, cook rice, distribute water, and hold umbrellas for candidates in the rain. The presence of volunteers is truly a warm spiritual support for parents and students.

Despite being busy, many parents have put aside their daily work to accompany their children during the recent exam days. The presence of parents is the greatest support for children to overcome the important exam of their student life. Ms. Tran Ngoc Van, group 20, Minh Khai ward (Ha Giang city) said: "Any parent is very worried, stressed, hoping that their children stay healthy and do well on the exam. No matter what the result is, parents will always accompany their children."
Ms. Vu Thi Kim Chung, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, said: “This year, the whole province has 7,524 candidates registered to take the exam at 34 official exam locations in 11 districts and cities with a total of 346 exam rooms, 68 waiting rooms, and 34 backup exam rooms. Nearly 1,790 officials, teachers, and employees were mobilized to invigilate, supervise, and serve the exam. In addition, 223 people from the police, medical, and electricity forces were mobilized to ensure security for the exam. With careful preparation in each stage and the efforts of the students, the exam took place safely and seriously, with no teachers or students violating exam regulations. The rate of candidates participating in the exam in all subjects was over 99.4%. Immediately after the end of the exam, the Examination Council will proceed to grade the exam according to regulations and the time to announce the exam results.”
The exam days have ended, but the journey of 18 years old is still ahead with the door to the future gradually opening. The experiences in the 2025 high school graduation exam season will become valuable luggage, adding strength for students to confidently step into a new journey.
