Khanh Hoa invests 400 billion VND to build Traditional Medicine Hospital

On the morning of June 11, the 7th People's Council of Khanh Hoa province passed a Resolution on investment policy for the Khanh Hoa Provincial Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital project.

The project aims to invest in the construction, renovation and upgrading of Khanh Hoa Province Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital. Thereby, meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment for people, promoting research, inheritance, preservation and development of Oriental medicine.

At the same time, combine with Western medicine in caring for and protecting people's health; improve the quality of medical examination and treatment with traditional medicine, combine traditional medicine with modern medicine, contributing to reducing hospital overload.

Accordingly, the project will build a new Traditional Medicine block on the existing land with level 4 houses after demolition (at Khanh Hoa Provincial Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital, Pham Van Dong Street, Vinh Phuoc Ward, Nha Trang City).

The new construction area includes 1 basement and 14 floors with a total construction area of ​​21,150 m2. This area will accommodate 250 hospital beds and medical examination and treatment equipment.

At the same time, the project will renovate the 3-storey inpatient treatment area (70 beds) with a construction floor area of ​​3,642m2 as a rehabilitation area. In addition, the project will also invest in equipment for the hospital to operate.

Total investment is about 400 billion VND from the State budget. The project will be implemented from 2024 to 2027.
