This is the place to coordinate operations for nearly 1,500 reporters, editors, and technicians from 171 domestic press agencies and 50 international agencies, a record number ever.
At the opening ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh emphasized that the Press Center will not only be a place to support operations and provide official information, but also contribute to arousing national pride, promoting the spirit of great solidarity, and spreading the message of an independent, self-reliant, innovative and integrated Vietnam.

“We will create all favorable conditions for domestic and international reporters to report on the Anniversary and proactively and actively provide information from the Organizing Committee about the Anniversary, contributing to the successful organization of the Anniversary according to the set goals, while ensuring the safety and security of the Anniversary,” Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh emphasized.
The Press Center will operate continuously until September 2, especially open during the preliminary rehearsal (August 27), final rehearsal (August 30) and the official holiday (September 2 at Ba Dinh Square).
Within the framework of the event, the Ministry of Science and Technology coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a special issuance of a postage stamp set "Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)".

The stamp set includes 1 stamp and 1 block. The stamp depicts President Ho Chi Minh in a modern graphic style, combining the red and yellow colors of the national flag, honoring the great leader - the immortal symbol of patriotism and the desire for independence. The stamp block shows the national emblem and map of Vietnam, associated with the image of a bronze drum, a symbol of a thousand years of civilization, affirming the sovereignty of the territory and sacred islands.
Stamps are 32x43 mm in size; Blocks are 80x100 mm in size, with face values of 4,000 VND and 19,000 VND. The stamp set was designed by artist Nguyen Du (Vietnam Post Corporation); supplied nationwide at provincial, municipal, central post offices, and transaction post offices from August 26, 2025 to June 30, 2027.

The postage stamp set "Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)" not only represents the important historical milestone, the day President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, but also affirms the sovereignty, freedom, independence, solidarity, indomitable will and pride of the Vietnamese people over the past 80 years.
This is not only a cultural and artistic product but also carries a message of gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary generations, while affirming the path of sustainable development and prosperity of the country after 80 years.
