Director of the Department of Home Affairs Pham Thi To Hai visited and presented gifts to show gratitude to families with meritorious services.

(GLO)- On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, on the morning of August 26, comrade Pham Thi To Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs visited and presented gifts to families with outstanding contributions in the eastern communes of Gia Lai province.

Comrade Pham Thi To Hai visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Kiem (93 years old, in Gia Duc village, Hoai An commune) and typical wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and prisoners in the communes of Hoai An, An Hao, Van Duc, An Tuong, Hoa Hoi, and Hoi Son.

At the families, comrade Pham Thi To Hai kindly asked about their health and life and expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the families to the cause of fighting for national independence, building and defending the Fatherland.

The Director of the Department of Home Affairs affirmed that the Party Committee, government and people of the province always respect and remember the contributions of previous generations; considering this a great source of encouragement to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity and determination to build the homeland to become more and more prosperous and civilized.

Comrade Pham Thi To Hai also provided an overview of the province's socio -economic development after the merger. The consensus and joint efforts of officials, party members and people of the two localities have created new momentum, opening up strong development opportunities for the new Gia Lai province.

Comrade Pham Thi To Hai hopes that families of people with meritorious services will continue to promote their traditions, be shining examples for today's generation to follow; at the same time, monitor and contribute ideas to build an increasingly clean and strong Party and government, serving well the cause of developing the homeland.
