This is one of the activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), organized by the Organizing Committee of major holidays of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.
The exhibition takes place from June 19 to 21, introducing 100 images vividly recreating the 100-year journey of formation and development of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press - the press founded and led by President Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam .
Since the first issue of Thanh Nien Newspaper founded by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has gone through a century of steadfast fighting, persistently accompanying the country and people, making an important contribution to the cause of national liberation, defending the Fatherland and building the country.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, said that the exhibition not only recreates the heroic history of journalism during the resistance wars, when hundreds of journalists put down their pens and rushed to the battlefield, but also demonstrates the strong role of journalism in the period of innovation and integration.
During nearly 40 years of renovation, the press has continued to affirm its pioneering position on the ideological and cultural front, acting as a bridge between the Party, the State and the People; at the same time, it has provided criticism, monitored society, fought against negativity, and contributed to strengthening confidence in the country's development path.

"Through the exhibition, the Organizing Committee wishes to honor the great contributions of generations of Vietnamese revolutionary journalists, while at the same time arousing the spirit of continuity, innovation and development among the current team of journalists, towards a professional, modern, humane and combative journalism, true to the spirit of "sharp pen, pure heart, bright mind", Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong affirmed.

On this occasion, on Dong Khoi Street (in front of the Department of Culture - Sports of Ho Chi Minh City and opposite Chi Lang Park), the Organizing Committee also displayed more than 130 images with the theme "Proud of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press" and "Ho Chi Minh City Press - 50 years accompanying the City in construction and development".
The images clearly demonstrate the strong growth of the City's press over the past half century, especially technical innovation, technology application and digital transformation in press activities, meeting the increasing needs of the public.

Also on the morning of June 19, in front of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater, the organizing committee coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association to organize a digital exhibition of images about the 100-year journey of Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism, 50 years of Ho Chi Minh City Journalism and 43 years of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalism Awards.
The digital exhibition is displayed on a modern screen system, creating a new, intuitive and vivid experience space, attracting the attention of many people, tourists and the press.
