Opening of the Kon Tum Province Open Age Group Badminton Tournament 2025

On the evening of June 12, at the General Gymnasium (Kon Tum City), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Kon Tum province held the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Open Age Group Badminton Championship. The event attracted a large number of athletes, coaches, fans and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, units and localities inside and outside the province to attend and cheer.

The Organizing Committee presented flowers and souvenir flags to the participating delegations.

This year's tournament brings together nearly 200 athletes from 16 strong delegations across the country such as: Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen , Binh Thuan, Binh Dinh, Ho Chi Minh City (CM Sport Club), An Khe Town (Gia Lai)... along with many clubs and host units Kon Tum.

Athletes will compete in 5 events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.

The tournament is divided into 7 age groups from 16 to 56 years old, applying round-robin or knockout format depending on the number of registrations in each content. This promises to bring many attractive, dramatic and surprising matches.

Immediately after the opening ceremony was the exciting atmosphere of the competing pairs of athletes.

The Kon Tum Province Open Badminton Tournament for Age Groups in 2025 is not only an opportunity for players to compete and improve their professional skills, but also contributes to developing the sports movement in the community, expanding exchanges and learning between localities and units across the country.

Through the tournament, the Organizing Committee will also select outstanding athletes to participate in regional and national tournaments in 2025.

The tournament takes place over 4 days, from June 12 to 15, and is expected to strongly spread the spirit of sportsmanship , contributing to promoting the movement of health training following the example of great Uncle Ho among all classes of people.
