Opening of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025-2030

On the morning of June 26, the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030, will solemnly open at the Hanoi Opera House.

Pursuant to the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; Directive No. 45-CT/TW of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Notice No. 71-TB/DU of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee on approving the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030, with the consent of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism solemnly organized the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending and directing the Congress were Comrade Mai Van Chinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister ; Comrade Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee; Deputy Secretaries of the Government Party Committee, Members of the Standing Committee, Members of the Government Party Committee; representatives of the Leaders of the Advisory and Support Departments of the Government Party Committee.

The Congress was honored to receive a beautiful flower basket and best wishes sent to the Congress by Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister.

On the side of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there was Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Comrades in the Standing Committee, Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2020 - 2025 term.

The Congress was attended by 248 delegates - outstanding cadres and party members, representing the faith, will, aspirations, solidarity and intelligence of nearly 3,000 party members from 58 grassroots party organizations, converging at the Hanoi Opera House in common joy, believing in the success of the Congress.

Previously, at the preparatory session on the afternoon of May 25, the Congress elected a Presidium of 7 members; a Secretariat of 3 members; and a Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 7 members. The Congress also approved the Congress's Program and Working Regulations.

The Presidium chaired the preparatory session of the Congress.

The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2025-2030 term took place in the context that the whole sector is actively implementing strategic tasks in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, which identified cultural development on par with economic, political and social development; sports and tourism are areas that contribute to building comprehensively developed Vietnamese people, forming national identity in the era of integration and development.

This is a political event of special importance to all cadres, party members and workers in the entire Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

The Congress was attended by 248 official delegates, representing nearly 3,000 party members of 58 party organizations under the Ministry's Party Committee.

The Congress has the task of summarizing and evaluating the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, at the same time, setting out directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term, meeting the requirements of industry development in the new situation; The Congress will also focus on discussing and contributing opinions to draft documents submitted to Party Congresses at all levels, demonstrating the sense of responsibility, intelligence, solidarity and development aspirations of the entire Party Committee.

With the motto: "Decisive action - Aspiration to contribute", innovation and creativity contribute significantly to the cause of comprehensive development of Vietnamese culture and people in the new era, the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030, affirms the high political determination in building a clean and strong Party Committee, contributing to the development of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector to be increasingly comprehensive, modern, and rich in identity, for the sustainable development of the country.
