At around 10am, the departure system at the terminal suddenly had a transmission problem, preventing many passengers from checking in. Several flights had close schedules, so passengers continuously arrived and had to wait in line, causing congestion in the terminal lobby.

The departure time was close but the procedures were not completed, making many people worried and rushing to find support units at the airport. By noon, the system was gradually restored, and counters reopened to process documents for customers.

A representative of the Security Center at Tan Son Nhat International Airport said the incident affected about 7 flights, but did not give a specific number of passengers. By early afternoon, the transmission system had stabilized.

After the connection was established, the Security Center coordinated with relevant parties and the airline to prioritize handling passengers who were close to their flight time. In cases of missed flights, the units also provided maximum support.

"The transmission system is faulty, but the exit procedures cannot be done manually, such as entering passenger information and documents, and must wait for recovery," said a representative of the Airport Security Center. This person also said that a similar incident had happened here before, but this was the first time it lasted for several hours.
