Implementation plan

Kinhtedothi - The Prime Minister signed Decision No. 459/QD-TTg promulgating the Plan to implement the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army (Plan).

The purpose of the Plan is to ensure unified direction of the Government and the Prime Minister; close, regular and effective coordination between ministries, branches, localities and relevant agencies and organizations in implementing the Law.

Specifically define the work content, deadline, completion progress and responsibilities of relevant agencies and organizations in implementing the Law, ensuring timeliness, synchronization, unity, effectiveness and efficiency; build a coordination mechanism between ministries, branches and localities in carrying out activities to implement the Law nationwide; raise awareness of the Law and the responsibilities of ministries, branches, localities and people in implementing the Law.

According to the Plan from 2025 and the following years, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Voice of Vietnam , Vietnam Television and other press, radio and television agencies (according to the management functions of each ministry and agency) will compile documents, organize propaganda, dissemination, legal education, training and professional development on the content of the Law and detailed implementing regulations.

Ministries, branches and localities review legal documents related to the Law under their assigned state management authority; implement according to their authority or propose to competent authorities to promptly amend, supplement, replace, abolish or issue new legal documents to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Law.

The Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security shall comply with Decision No. 1610/QD-TTg dated December 19, 2024 of the Prime Minister promulgating the List and assigning the agency in charge of drafting documents detailing the implementation of laws and resolutions passed by the 15th National Assembly at the 8th Session.

The Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security (according to the management functions of each ministry) shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Justice, the Government Office and relevant agencies to organize the inspection of the implementation of the Law and documents detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law.
