According to The Guardian , Iran's Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir-Saeid Iravani, affirmed on June 29 that the country's uranium enrichment activities will "never stop" because "Iran is allowed to do it for peaceful purposes under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty".

"Enrichment of uranium is our right and we want to exercise this right," Ambassador Amir-Saeid Iravani told CBS News , adding that Iran was ready to negotiate but "(US President Donald Trump's) demand for unconditional surrender is not negotiation but ordering us."
Iran's ambassador to the United Nations also denied that there had been any threat from Tehran to the safety of Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), or to the agency's inspectors.
“There was no threat to Mr Grossi,” Mr Iravani said, acknowledging that Iran had suspended cooperation with the IAEA.
According to Al-Monitor news site, Mr. Iravani said on June 28 that Iran could transfer its enriched uranium stockpile to another country in case of reaching an agreement with the US on Tehran's nuclear program.
Mr Irvani's comments came as Western nations and the US urged Iran to resume talks on its nuclear programme, after Israel and Iran reached a ceasefire agreement on June 24.
