Mo Duc district meets new rural standards in 2024

In Decision No. 1207, dated June 20, 2025, the Prime Minister recognized Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province as meeting new rural standards in 2024.

The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations. Directed the People's Committee of Mo Duc district to continue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction. New rural construction in Mo Duc district has become a vibrant emulation movement among localities, mobilizing many resources to join hands to contribute to building essential infrastructure.

Up to now, the traffic system in the communes in the district has been invested in upgrading smoothly, connecting with national and provincial highways. The rate of commune roads with concrete has reached 100%. Village roads have been hardened, ensuring convenient travel. The main roads in the fields have been upgraded, helping farmers travel and transport goods conveniently. Many cultural houses and sports grounds have been invested in building, upgrading and repairing to meet the needs of living, practicing culture, arts and sports of the people.

With the attention of the province and the determined efforts of all levels and sectors, and the consensus of the people, Mo Duc district has improved the criteria for building new rural areas. Up to now, the district has 12/12 communes meeting new rural standards, 4 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, and Mo Duc town meeting civilized urban criteria. Mo Duc district has now completed 9/9 criteria for a new rural district. The average income per capita is estimated at 54.6 million VND/person/year.
