234th Air Defense Artillery Brigade focuses on disseminating and educating the law

(GLO)- In recent years, the dissemination and education of law at the 234th Air Defense Artillery Brigade (34th Corps) has had positive changes, contributing to raising awareness and building a sense of self-consciousness in complying with the State's laws and military discipline among officers and soldiers.

At Company 9 (Battalion 3), legal dissemination andeducation activities are implemented synchronously and flexibly. Propaganda content is specified, closely following the practical situation, objects and tasks of the unit.

Through many creative methods such as the model "One legal question a day", creating legal skits in cultural activities, organizing online contests to learn legal knowledge... legal education has gone into depth, promoting the initiative and positivity of officers and soldiers.

Major Nguyen Le Tuyen - Political Commissar of Company 9 - said: "We choose topics that are close, practical, and directly related to the lives and tasks of soldiers such as: Law on Order, road traffic safety, regulations on handling disciplinary violations for soldiers, preventing and combating crimes in cyberspace...

We combine oral propaganda with legal bookcases, internal radio, the "Youth with the Law" forum, and maintain the organization of "Law Day" every month, which has created a positive effect."

According to Major Dinh Trong Binh - Deputy Political Commissar of Battalion 3: Propaganda, dissemination and legal education are carried out in political activities as well as on the internal information system and information boards placed in the headquarters; at the same time, legal knowledge competitions are organized.

“In particular, the Battalion has effectively promoted the system of legal bookshelves in the unit, creating conditions for officers and soldiers to study, research, and proactively improve their knowledge and awareness of the law. Combining legal education with political, ethical, and lifestyle education helps officers and soldiers not only understand the law but also deeply imbue the spirit of respect for the law, living and working according to the Constitution and the law.

Thanks to that, officers and soldiers strictly follow the unit's rules and regulations, and no violations of the law occur," said Major Binh.

Sergeant Nong Van Khanh (Company 9) shared: “During political activities and breaks at the training ground, we were informed, disseminated, and educated about the law and the unit’s rules and regulations. Therefore, I not only understand the law better but also adjust my behavior and conduct myself more appropriately in daily life and work. That is also a way for each soldier to demonstrate his bravery and military character.”

With the slogan of action "Know-understand-do right-set an example", the 234th Air Defense Artillery Brigade identifies the dissemination and education of law as the foundation for building discipline, training discipline, and creating combined strength for the unit to successfully complete assigned tasks.

In the first 6 months of 2025, 100% of the Brigade's officers and soldiers strictly complied with the law and military discipline, with no serious violations. The Brigade also achieved outstanding results in the online contest "Learning Legal Knowledge in 2025" organized by the People's Army Newspaper, with 5,400 participants.

Colonel Nguyen Van Thu - Political Commissar of the Brigade - informed: In the coming time, the Brigade will continue to promote the leadership role of Party committees and commanders at all levels in the work of disseminating and educating the law; closely linking the construction of discipline with the construction of a healthy, democratic and disciplined cultural environment.

In particular, the key solution is to improve the quality of political cadres, innovate the content and form of legal propaganda, combine general education and specific education for each subject; resolutely fight against negative manifestations and cover-up of violations; do a good job of ideological work, grasp the psychology of soldiers; focus on managing social relationships of soldiers...

The recognition of outstanding collectives and individuals and the creation of motivation for emulation in law compliance will be enhanced, thereby spreading positive values, contributing to improving fighting strength and maintaining discipline throughout the unit.
