At the production workshop of Itas Mars Intimates Fashion Co., Ltd. - a business operating in the garment industry, specializing in providing high-end fashion products, the working atmosphere is professional and modern with a smooth and efficient machinery system. Of which, the most notable is the automatic hanging chain system invested in, installed and put into use by the Company since 2021.
Ms. Pham Thi Vui, Sewing Team Leader, Itas Mars Intimates Fashion Company Limited shared: In the past, when there was no hanging line, after finishing a sewing stage, each worker had to carry the product to the next position by themselves. The work was manual, hard and prone to errors. At the same time, it made it difficult for the line leader to count and monitor the number of products; when there was an error, it was difficult to determine the cause and which worker caused it.
Since the automatic system was installed, products were quickly transferred according to pre-programmed procedures, reducing intermediate operation time and saving labor. In addition, all information is integrated on the computer screen, so workers can easily grasp information, quantity, and productivity of their labor to focus on production, control output quality more evenly and stably. The company has also deployed a production management software system that connects data directly from sewing lines to the control center, helping the management team monitor progress, quality, and productivity in real time.
Ms. Dinh Thi Hong Thinh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Itas Mars Intimates Fashion Company Limited said: “We identify technology as a key factor to maintain and expand the international market, especially in the high-end fashion sector that requires high precision and aesthetics. Investing in an automatic hanging line system is a strategic step, helping to save manpower, increase flexibility in production arrangement and aim to green the work process. Since applying this automatic system, productivity has increased significantly, on average 20-25% compared to before.”
