“Moving Forward with Vietnam” is an opportunity to demonstrate the strength and power of solidarity, towards realizing the national goal of “Strong People - Prosperous Country”, Net Zero.

Accordingly, at 6:00 a.m. on August 16, in Hanoi, there will be a national flag-raising ceremony, the national anthem will be sung in unison; the leader of the Ministry of Public Security will give the marching order, which will be broadcast live to 34 connecting points in provinces and cities, together moving forward for a united, strong and sustainable Vietnam.

In Hue City, a walking event was also held in front of Nghenh Luong Dinh (Phu Xuan Ward) organized by the City People's Committee. It is expected to attract nearly 4,000 delegates, officers, soldiers of the armed forces, civil servants, public employees, youth, students and many people from all walks of life in neighboring wards.

The walking route in response to the activity "Moving Forward with Vietnam" starts at Nghenh Luong Dinh stage and goes through the following streets: Le Duan, Cua Ngan, Doan Thi Diem, Dang Thai Than, Le Huan, 23/8, Cua Quang Duc, Le Duan.

In addition, the remaining wards and communes in the city, based on the actual situation, organize walking activities to contribute to realizing the goal of organizing the event "1 billion steps into the new era".

“Moving Forward with Vietnam” is a community event organized by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with Nhan Dan Newspaper, aiming to continue promoting the spirit of patriotism, the tradition of solidarity, and multiplying the aspirations for development of the Vietnamese people; spreading confidence, pride, and strong will to rise up throughout society. At the same time, it practically celebrates the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam September 2 (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

In addition, continue to mobilize and encourage resources to promote the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland", build the habit of walking, contributing to reducing carbon emissions into the environment. Through a series of activities, contribute to further strengthening the solidarity of the whole people, further strengthening the close bond between the People's Public Security soldiers and the People, building the image of a beautiful People's Public Security soldier in the hearts of the people.
