The bezel is finished in metal, the case is stainless steel and the water resistance is 5ATM. The crown and side programming button will remain the same, but this year the devices will have new strap color options: the 41mm version is expected to come in two colors: Jana Blue and Jana Gold, while the 46mm version is only available in Black.

The Huawei Watch GT5 will continue to feature a 1.32-inch AMOLED display for the 44mm version and a 1.43-inch display for the 46mm version. Battery life ranges from 7 to 14 days.

The new watch features the latest Truense health monitoring system - bringing advanced health sensors that unlock new accuracy and assessments. Huawei will also have an upgraded Health Glance tool, providing faster health assessments. Users can check more than 10 indicators including: ECG, arterial stiffness, stress levels and cardiovascular risk, all within 60 seconds.

In addition, the watch is expected to support more than 100 sports modes and integrate an independent navigation system (GPS, GNSS).

The Huawei Watch GT5 is said to be IP68 certified as well as support 18W fast charging.
