Thanh Binh Transport and Environmental Services Cooperative: 30 years of development and growth

On August 25, Thanh Binh Transport and Environmental Services Cooperative held a ceremony to celebrate its 30th anniversary of establishment and development. Attending the ceremony were comrade Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; leaders of the Provincial Cooperative Union, the Provincial Business Association, the Provincial Veterans Affairs Committee and An Tuong Ward.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the process of building and developing the cooperative. Thanh Binh Transport and Environmental Services Cooperative was established in 1995, with capital contributed by 3 veterans, with the business lines of transportation and lime kiln construction.

After 30 years of development, from the early days with many difficulties, the Cooperative now has 100 members who are veterans, children of veterans and families with meritorious services. The Cooperative owns 47 cars of various types, serving a variety of fields such as passenger transport, construction material transportation and waste treatment. In addition, the Cooperative has also expanded into the field of planting trees and ornamental plants, contributing to beautifying the urban and rural landscape.

The cooperative has many initiatives, bringing practical benefits to the community. Typically, the two initiatives "Mobilizing people to classify waste at source" and "Composting organic waste into fertilizer" have been recognized by the city of Tuyen Quang (old).

In addition to effective business activities, the Cooperative is also one of the most active units in social security work. Over the years, the Cooperative has spent billions of VND on meaningful activities such as: Supporting the fund for the poor, helping flood victims, concreting rural roads, building charity houses, and contributing to the construction of the New Rural Area, supporting Covid-19...
