More than 300 artifacts at the exhibition 'Keeping the oath of independence' celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day

More than 300 typical images, documents and artifacts recreating the journey of '80 independent autumns' are on display in the exhibition Keeping the oath of independence at the Vietnam Military History Museum.

This is an activity towards the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.

AI, AR relive historical moments

The exhibition has 3 parts: Independence Autumn, Keeping the Oath and Glory of Vietnam.

The exhibition outlines the historical process of the Vietnamese people, from the time of the French colonial invasion, to the victory of the August Revolution in 1945 and the event of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence, to the arduous process of the wars of national liberation, fighting to protect the border and fulfilling the noble international duty, maintaining independence, sovereignty , unity and territorial integrity of the Fatherland.

At the same time, introduce the country's great achievements in all fields of politics , culture, economy and society.

In which, the Vietnam People's Army continues to be the core force in building all-people national defense, firmly protecting the Fatherland, participating in United Nations peacekeeping activities, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena.

All are shown through typical artifacts, associated with important historical milestones such as:

President Ho Chi Minh's Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945;

- Restore the "Emperor's Treasure" seal;

- Collecting "Uncle Ho" banknotes - a means of payment issued by the Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, demonstrating the economic and financial sovereignty of an independent nation;

- Restoring A Pa Chai Landmark, a sacred symbol of sovereignty, affirming the determination to protect territorial integrity.

In particular, the highlight of the exhibition is the application of augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technology to vividly recreate history, while creating high interaction for visitors during the process of research, learning and experience.

Through sound and lighting effects combined with AR and AI technology, historical photos and films are realistically recreated, helping visitors feel like they are living in that historical moment.
