The 2025 National Roller Sports Youth Championship has the participation of more than 150 professional and semi-professional athletes from provinces and cities nationwide including: Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Hai Phong, Bac Giang and host Tien Giang.
The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to the delegations attending the Opening Ceremony.
Athletes will compete in 20 Speed Roller Skating events, 12 Artistic Roller Skating events and 4 Skateboarding events. Each athlete can register for a maximum of 2 events for each competition category.
In addition to the purpose of creating a healthy playground for the youth community, exercising, improving physical fitness, this is also an opportunity to develop the movement of practicing and competing in Roller Sports throughout the country in general, Tien Giang province in particular; at the same time, selecting excellent athletes for the national team in 2025 and international tournaments in the coming time. The tournament is also an opportunity for young athletes across the country to exchange, learn and improve their skills in practicing and competing in Roller Sports.
Athletes will compete in 20 Speed Roller events.
In this year's season, in order to improve the professional quality, the Vietnam Skating and Roller Federation invited two experts to run the tournament: Ms. Shirley Tay Lai Fong - President of the Asian Skate and Skate Federation and Mr. Shermaine Lim Pei Xuan - International Referee of the Asian Skate Federation.
In addition, the Vietnam Skating and Roller Federation organized a referee training course and anti-doping training course right before the tournament started.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Roller Sports Youth Championship, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang province, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament said: "The tournament is not only a place for passionate and enthusiastic young athletes from all over the country to gather, but also a place to discover and nurture future sports talents, contributing to the sustainable development of Roller Sports in particular and the country's sports in general, an opportunity for young athletes to demonstrate their talents, exchange, learn and accumulate competition experience. This is also an opportunity for experts to select outstanding faces, prepare successors for regional and international arenas, thereby affirming the growth and professionalization of this sport in the Vietnamese sports system".
The 2025 National Roller Sports Youth Championship will take place on June 6 and 7 at Hung Vuong Square. At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee will award gold, silver, bronze medals and certificates to the individuals with the best achievements in each event, ranked from First to Third, and Encouragement prizes for Fourth place.
