More than 100 experts and doctors participated in the scientific conference on gastrointestinal endoscopy

On August 24, the Vietnam Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Association in collaboration with Hospital 22-12 organized a scientific conference on gastrointestinal endoscopy. The conference attracted more than 100 experts and doctors from many hospitals and medical centers across the country.

At the workshop, experts updated the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of early gastrointestinal cancers. In particular, the focus was on diagnostic colonoscopy techniques, applications of endoscopic interventional submucosal dissection (ESD) in the treatment of early cancers. In particular, thematic reports emphasized the progress of ESD techniques, the effectiveness of applying NBI magnifying endoscopy in the early detection of colorectal cancer, and the results of implementing ESD techniques at Hospital 22-12.

Within the framework of the program, experts performed demonstration surgeries on 1 case of early gastric cancer and 2 cases of early colon cancer, helping students access modern techniques.
