The Organizing Committee representative awarded first prize to 3 contestants participating in the contest.
The 2025 Provincial Traditional Music Competition organized by the Provincial Cultural Center is for individuals, groups, clubs, teams/groups of artists and amateurs living, working, studying and performing arts in the province. Contestants participating in the program are divided into 3 groups: A (15 years old and under), B (16 - 45 years old) and C (46 years old and over).
In the online format, the contest received 45 ancient music pieces for the preliminary round. The organizing committee selected 31 artists to perform 33 works in the final round. The content of the songs was about the themes of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the indomitable fighting tradition of the Vietnamese people; love between couples and the sea, islands, homeland, and country; shining examples of patriotism.
In the final round, contestants sing directly on stage a piece (short or group) or a lyric for group A; 2-3 vọng cổ verses at 32 beats (no singing of new traditional songs) with a traditional orchestra prepared by the Organizing Committee; Contestants are allowed to use LED screen effects to illustrate the song. For the duo, trio or group singing genres, contestants can compete with 3 vọng cổ verses at 32 beats or more.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 9 third prizes and 13 consolation prizes along with 6 thematic prizes (Self-composed composition, most suitable costume, youngest candidate, oldest candidate and promising candidate) to the candidates participating in the contest.
