Social insurance and health insurance policies are the two main pillars of the social security system that have always been directed and implemented by the Party and the State. In recent times, especially since Directive No. 38-CT/TW dated September 7, 2009 of the Secretariat and Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health in the new situation were issued, the role of the health insurance policy has been increasingly promoted, helping millions of people access health care services.

With the desire that more and more people will have access to and benefit from social insurance and health insurance policies, especially health insurance, in recent times, the Social Insurance of Region IV, the Department of Health and the Provincial General Hospital have made efforts to fully and promptly implement health insurance policies. At the same time, they have coordinated to organize many activities to disseminate, advise, answer questions about policies, and mobilize people to participate in health insurance, contributing to ensuring sustainable social security, completing the targets and plans assigned by the Vietnam Social Insurance and the Provincial People's Committee.

2025 is a special milestone when Law No. 51/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance officially takes effect from July 1, 2025. The Law adds many new points, expands benefits for participants, improves procedures, enhances the application of digital technology , and creates favorable conditions for people to access and use health services.
At the propaganda session, delegates were informed of the basic new points of the revised Law on Health Insurance in 2024; the practical work of medical examination and treatment at the Provincial General Hospital; at the same time, they were consulted and directly answered questions arising in participating in and enjoying health insurance... The propaganda content contributed to spreading the message of humane health insurance policy, sharing with the community, "no one is left behind"; Strengthen the role and responsibility of agencies and units in the social insurance and health care system in medical examination and treatment and effective use of the health insurance fund.
