Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Duc Toan emphasized: The cooperation program for tourism development in the expanded Northwest provinces and Ho Chi Minh City for the period 2020 - 2025 was signed in October 2020, in which investment promotion activities in the tourism sector and the Northwest - Dien Bien tourism fair in 2024 are one of the important contents identified by the provinces in the chain of activities of the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024. This is an opportunity for the Northwest provinces in particular and provinces and cities in the country in general to introduce cultural values, unique, attractive and novel tourism products. Thereby further strengthening the exchange, communication and expanding linkages, promoting investment in tourism development between localities and enterprises to gradually turn tourism into a spearhead economic sector of each province.
