In the 2024-2025 school year, with the spirit of effort and trying to overcome all difficulties, the entire education sector has well performed the tasks assigned by the Party, National Assembly, Government, and Prime Minister, completed the plan, tasks, and key solutions of the school year and achieved many important results.

In particular, the quality of education at all levels of preschool and general education continues to be improved. The work of universalizing preschool education, primary education, secondary education and eliminating illiteracy is of interest to localities. The 2018 General Education Program is implemented synchronously with all subjects and educational activities from grade 1 to grade 12 nationwide, completing the cycle of program and textbook innovation.

The whole country successfully organized the 2025 High School Graduation Exam - the first exam under the 2018 General Education Program, ensuring safety, seriousness, and objectivity.

The quality of key education continues to be affirmed. Vietnamese student delegations participating in national and international science and technology competitions for high school students in the 2024-2025 school year; international and regional Olympic competitions continue to achieve high results.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the importance of education and training as well as the viewpoints, policies, guidelines and strategies of the Party and State towards the cause of education and training.

The Prime Minister affirmed: Education plays a particularly important and fundamental role in the formation and development of people, thereby contributing to determining the movement and development of society; it is the most important factor ensuring the success of human resource development, especially high-quality human resources - one of the three strategic breakthroughs for the country's rapid and sustainable development.

The Prime Minister commended, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the education sector in the 2024-2025 school year. These results have made an important contribution to the overall achievements of the country.
