The 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Exam score is one of three admission methods to the University of Health Sciences this year.

The University of Health Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the expected tuition fees for the 2025-2026 academic year. Of which, the highest tuition fee is for medicine, expected to be 70 million VND/student/academic year.
Next, the dental and maxillofacial department charges tuition fees of 62.2 million VND/student/academic year. The two departments of pharmacy and traditional medicine are expected to have the same tuition fee of 55.2 million VND/student/academic year. The nursing department has the lowest tuition fee, expected to be 41.8 million VND/student/year.
In 2024-2025, the University of Health Sciences will collect tuition fees from 41.8 to 60 million VND/year. Of which, the medical major will collect 60 million VND; the two majors of traditional medicine and dentistry will collect 55.2 million VND; Pharmacy will collect 55 million VND and nursing will collect 41.8 million VND.
Thus, compared to last year, tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year are expected to increase sharply in two medical training majors: medicine and dentistry (an increase of 10 million VND). Tuition fees for the remaining majors will remain basically stable, including: pharmacy, traditional medicine, and nursing.
In 2025, the school will enroll 5 university-level majors: medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, traditional medicine (excluding medical majors trained on order). Admission methods include: direct admission, priority direct admission, priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Ho Chi Minh City National University; admission based on the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University competency assessment exam; admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
In 2024, the admission scores for the majors of the University of Health Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University) based on the high school graduation exam scores range from 22.6 to 26.4, with the medical major having the highest admission score. In terms of the competency assessment exam scores, last year's admission scores for majors ranged from 746 to 943/1,200 points.
