Complete collection of information for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census

(CT) - According to Can Tho City Statistics, the city has completed the work of collecting information for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census in the area. Currently, the Commune Steering Committee is preparing to accept the collected information, ensuring completion before August 25, 2025 as planned.

The 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census is a large-scale statistical survey of special importance to collect comprehensive information on the current status of rural and agricultural development and farmers' lives. The survey results serve the compilation of relevant statistical indicators under the National Statistical Indicator System; compile socio -economic indicators to serve the assessment of the current situation, analyze change trends, develop plans and strategies for rural development, the agricultural, forestry and fishery sector (AFF) and improve the living standards of rural residents nationwide as well as in each locality. In addition, it serves research to assess the scale and structure of rural labor and AFF; changes in rural infrastructure; the implementation of some contents of national programs and targets in the rural and AFF sectors; serves international comparisons of rural and AFF indicators. Build a database on rural areas and NLTS to serve in-depth research; serve as a sampling frame for a number of annual periodic surveys on the NLTS sector and meet other statistical requirements.

Preliminary results will be released in December 2025. Final results will be released in March 2026. Thematic analysis reports will be released in July 2026.
