Complete investigation, collect information on economic status

From July 1, 2024, along with the whole country, Phu Tho province launched a survey to collect information on the socio -economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024. After 45 days of implementation, the survey in the province has been completed on schedule, ensuring 100% of the set plan.

The survey, collecting information on the socio-economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024, was conducted from July 1 to August 15, 2024 in 54 provinces and centrally run cities. This is the third time the survey has been organized nationwide.

Investigators collect information from ethnic minority households in Yen Lap district.

In this survey, Phu Tho province has 64 communes and towns of 6 districts including: Thanh Son, Tan Son, Yen Lap, Doan Hung, Thanh Thuy, Ha Hoa with 7,195 households selected for sampling.

The Provincial Statistics Office is the agency that presides over and directs the entire survey, coordinating with the Provincial Ethnic Committee and departments, branches and localities to implement it.

Information from the survey will be an important basis for evaluating the results of ethnic work implementation in the 2021-2025 period and data for developing and planning socio-economic development policies for ethnic minority areas in the 2026-2030 period.

At the same time, it is the basis for Party committees and organizations at all levels to prepare reports and documents for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and the 14th National Party Congress. It is expected that the results of the provincial investigation will be handed over to the Ethnic Committee in April 2025.
