For health stations, maintain the current model of health stations as organizations directly under the health center to maintain and stabilize the work of protecting and caring for people's health at the grassroots health level. At the same time, review and streamline health stations according to the new commune-level administrative units in the direction that each commune has 1 health station and can organize stations to serve the people. Particularly for Thanh Sen ward with a large population, 1 to 2 more health stations can be established to ensure the work of protecting and caring for people's health in the area.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Director of the Department of Health emphasized that the completion of receiving 12 district-level medical centers and Loc Ha General Hospital under the management of the department before June 30 will contribute to facilitating the operation of the 2-level local government model from July 1. The department will quickly organize a review, improve human resources, and provide professional support to units to thereby improve operational efficiency, meeting the health care requirements of people in 69 new communes and wards.
