Some outstanding results achieved include: Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the Association at all levels reviewed the repair and renovation needs of members and from many resources supported the elimination of 59 houses; effectively managed loans and used loans from the Social Policy Bank with a total outstanding debt of more than 630 billion VND through 266 savings and loan groups; developed 154 members; organized 03 training courses to foster political knowledge and professional work of the Association for 265 grassroots cadres and branch heads; coordinated to successfully complete activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification; participated in performing well in charity activities, visiting and encouraging sick members, etc.
At the conference, delegates discussed and contributed ideas to continue innovating and improving the quality of the Association's work in the coming time. The Associations at all levels continue to carry out their tasks in the new conditions, implementing the merger of the organizational apparatus according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and the conclusions of the Politburo on the implementation of the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus of the political system. Continue to mobilize cadres and members to actively participate in economic development and poverty reduction; effectively exploit entrusted loans, association funds and other capital sources; organize the replication of economic models and coordinate with specialized agencies to organize training courses on the transfer of science and technology in animal husbandry and cultivation for members.../.
