The most attractive activity is the La market, which has an unprecedented scale, and has been awarded the record by the Vietnam Record Organization as “La market on the top of the mountain with the largest scale in Vietnam”. Lasting for 4 days from August 30 to September 2, the La market is designed with an impressive scale, including more than 30 stalls with a variety of products.
Every tourist taking the cable car up Ba Den Mountain is given a Bodhi leaf to go to the market and choose rustic dishes and typical dishes of Tay Ninh cuisine . Many entertaining activities and folk dances create a vibrant atmosphere for the market.
Tourists excitedly checked in with the market space imbued with the rustic, simple features of the old Southern countryside markets and recreating the joy of victory of the nation. The stalls were roofed and decorated with familiar natural materials such as thatch leaves, mangrove wood, and mulberry trees, etc. and dyed red with the flag color by the staff of Sun World Ba Den Mountain.
This year’s September 2nd holiday is also the first time that Sun World Ba Den Mountain has organized a large-scale exhibition, telling the story of the sacred Ba Den mountain through heroic historical milestones. With the name “Ba Den Mountain – the heroic epic forever echoes”, the exhibition is a space for visitors to admire historical photos and artifacts marking the heroic mark of the mountain that was once the “divine eye” in the resistance wars against the US and France.
The young generation is especially interested in the exhibition, not only because they can live in the memories of war but also admire Ba Den Mountain with its majestic cultural and spiritual works, to become a spiritual and cultural tourist destination of Vietnam and the world.
On the evenings of August 30, 31 and September 2, a solemn lantern offering ceremony was held on top of Ba Den Mountain for visitors to turn their attention to the homeland during this sacred moment in history.
