Law requires an exam score of 18 or higher, in which Math and Literature (or corresponding subjects in the combination) must be at least 6 points; if considering transcripts, the average score of all 12th grade subjects multiplied by a factor of three must be from 18 points, Math and Literature must not be less than 6 points. The remaining majors accept applications from 15 points according to high school exam results and from 17 points according to transcripts, including many hot majors such as Information Technology, Finance - Banking, E-commerce, Marketing, etc.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology (HUFLIT) conducts 100% online supplementary admission for 23 majors, applying three methods with very low application scores, equivalent to the first round's benchmark scores: high school exam from 15 points, school report from 18 points, and Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment from 500 points. Candidates register and submit applications online, results will be returned after 3-4 days, deadline August 31.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade recruits additional majors in Seafood Processing Technology, Materials Technology, and International Business Administration, each major has about 30 quotas, with a score of 16-17. The school applies many admission methods and supports 50% of the first semester tuition. The deadline for receiving applications is September 20.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology accepts additional applications until 5:00 p.m. on September 10, using two methods: academic transcripts (average score of three subjects in grade 12 or average score of the entire grade 12 year). Threshold for receiving applications: Pharmacy 21 points, Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology 19 points, other majors 18 points.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University will conduct additional admissions from August 25th through three methods, with application scores equivalent to the first round's standard scores: high school exam scores of 15-20.5 points; transcript scores of 18-23 points; capacity assessment scores of 550-650 points (VNU-HCMC) and 70-85 points (VNU- Hanoi ).

Vietnam Aviation Academy recruits 470 additional students for eight majors, with an application score of 18-20. The English Language major requires an average grade 12 English score of ≥6 or an IELTS certificate of ≥4.5. Application deadline is August 28.

Saigon International University (SIU) recruits 350 additional students for 29 majors: high school exam score 15-18, academic record 18, HCM City National University capacity assessment ≥600; application deadline September 10.

In the Central region, Nha Trang University recruits more than 600 students for 23 majors, with a minimum score of 20, of which Finance - Banking and Business Administration have the highest score of 24. Some majors require an average score of ≥5 in English; application deadline is 5-9.

In Hanoi, the School of Business and Management - VNU Hanoi considers additional admission scores of 19-20.5 depending on the major, in four rounds from August 22 to September 15. Phenikaa University accepts applications from August 23 to September 4, with a minimum score of 17. Hong Bang International University (HIU) considers additional admission until August 31 (except for the two majors of Medicine and Dentistry), with admission scores: high school exam 15-19, academic transcript 18-20.5, Ho Chi Minh City National University capacity assessment 600-675, V-SAT 200-250.
