Carefully prepare conditions for the opening ceremony of the new school year

On the afternoon of August 28, the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh held a conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and deploy tasks for the 2025-2026 school year. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Tat Thang and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities attended.

In the 2024-2025 school year, with the special attention of Party committees, authorities at all levels, the participation of the political system, and the entire people, the provincial Department of Education and Training has excellently completed its assigned tasks. The quality of mass education has changed dramatically, creating a breakthrough: in the 2025 high school graduation exam, the average score of graduation exam subjects ranked 2nd nationwide, with 11/12 subjects having an average score in the top 10 nationwide, with 341 exams scoring 10 points.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh, Nguyen Ngoc Le Nam, reported on the implementation results of the 2024-2025 school year.

Regarding the results of the national excellent student exam, Ha Tinh ranked 3rd nationwide in terms of the percentage of students participating in the exam and winning prizes, with 1 student winning the Gold Medal at the 2025 International Mathematical Olympiad. In addition, Ha Tinh students participated in many intellectual competitions and won high prizes at home and abroad.

The Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh has proactively and effectively implemented the work of reorganizing the apparatus and implementing a two-level local government. The planning and arrangement of schools, facilities, and equipment have received attention and investment from localities; the school landscape is green, clean, beautiful, and safe; step by step, construction is advised according to prescribed standards.

Continue to direct innovation in teaching and learning methods and forms in the direction of developing learners' qualities and capacities. Innovate the work of discovering and nurturing excellent students at all levels. Administrative reform has many changes. In the first 6 months of 2025, the administrative reform work of the Department of Education and Training was ranked 3rd in the sector and department. Digital transformation in the sector has been implemented synchronously and achieved good results.

The “Digital Education for All” movement has been implemented and initially had a strong spread. The work of encouraging learning and talent at all levels has been promoted, contributing significantly to the policy of rewarding, encouraging and motivating students with difficult circumstances to strive to study well. The system of vocational education institutions has been reviewed and arranged in an open and flexible direction.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the Ha Tinh Education and Training sector will continue to improve the quality of advisory work; strengthen political and ideological education; build school culture, ensure school safety; develop a team of teachers and educational managers to meet the requirements of educational innovation; effectively implement preschool education, general education, continuing education and vocational education programs; promote digital transformation and administrative reform throughout the sector; effectively deploy training and fostering work; promote communication work and carry out emulation movements in education...

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Tat Thang suggested that the education sector urgently overcome the damage caused by storm No. 5. Focus on reviewing and carefully preparing facilities, teaching equipment and other necessary conditions to be ready for the opening ceremony of the new school year, ensuring a smooth and safe start. In particular, there needs to be close coordination between schools, parents and local authorities for teaching and learning to achieve the highest efficiency.

To improve the capacity of the teaching staff, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the sector should focus on training and fostering professional skills regularly, updating new knowledge in accordance with the requirements of educational innovation. At the same time, build a mechanism to motivate teachers to proactively study, be creative and develop their full capacity, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning.

The entire sector needs to continue to maintain and sustain the quality of comprehensive and cutting-edge education. In particular, it is necessary to develop a systematic education plan, based on science and practice, ensuring connectivity and effectiveness. This plan must specify the goals of each level, subject and stage, and have a clear and flexible implementation roadmap, suitable for the development of students.

On this occasion, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Binh - Vice Principal of Ha Tinh Specialized High School was awarded the Labor Medal. Third class; Ha Tinh Specialized High School was awarded the Government's Emulation Flag; Nguyen Dinh Lien High School and 10 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister.
