Two holidays in April 2025

(KGO) - Hung King's death anniversary, April 30 and May 1 have holidays that fall on normal working days, so civil servants, public employees and workers have consecutive days off, swapping them to have a 3-5 day vacation.

The Labor Code stipulates that the Hung Kings Commemoration Day (the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month) is a one-day holiday. This year’s holiday falls on Monday, April 7, so civil servants, public employees, and workers will have three days off from April 5 to 7, from Saturday to Monday.

Holidays for April 30 and International Labor Day May 1 from April 30 to May 4. Civil servants, public employees, and workers will have their working days swapped from Friday, May 2 to Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Thus, on the occasion of April 30 and International Labor Day, May 1, civil servants and public employees will have 5 consecutive days off from Wednesday, April 30 to Sunday, May 4, 2025 (working as a compensatory day on Saturday, April 26, 2025).

Units that take days off according to this schedule must arrange a department on duty to handle unexpected matters. Agencies and businesses that do not have fixed two days off on weekends must base their plans on arranging suitable days off for employees.
