In particular, Mr. Tran Le Tuan introduced to the Hai Phong Port delegation the achievements in the comprehensive digital transformation with applications such as electronic port (ePort), smart container gate (Smartgate), eCPS, eTractor, eMap... helping Da Nang Port optimize processes and improve service quality.

“Hai Phong Port is not only a friendly unit but also a ‘big brother’ in the Vietnamese seaport system with outstanding scale. This is a valuable opportunity for Da Nang Port to learn management and exploitation experience and especially the strategy of developing green ports and smart ports,” said Mr. Tran Le Tuan.

Chairman of Hai Phong Port Board of Directors Pham Hong Minh highly appreciated the dynamism, strategic vision and impressive results that Da Nang Port has achieved, considering it a development model for seaports in the region. He was particularly impressed with the model of harmonious combination between port exploitation and tourism development, as well as the determination to pursue the goal of "greening" of Da Nang Port.

“There are many similarities between Hai Phong Port and Da Nang Port in terms of strategic orientation and challenges in the new context. It is extremely necessary to increase exchanges, share experiences, and seek cooperation opportunities in the fields of exploitation, logistics and technology application. This trip has opened up many new ideas, we believe in the future of close and effective cooperation between the two units,” Mr. Minh emphasized.

At the meeting, the two sides had open discussions, focusing on issues of mutual concern such as corporate governance models, optimizing container operations, developing logistics service chains, training and developing high-quality human resources, and especially digital transformation.

The two sides also shared practical stories and new ideas on smart port operations, green port construction, logistics service chain optimization, comprehensive digital transformation in operations, etc. Each shared experience is considered a brick that builds a solid foundation for common development.

According to Mr. Tran Le Tuan, the visit and working session of the leaders of Hai Phong Port to Da Nang Port is not only a simple professional exchange activity but also affirms the sustainable cooperative relationship between two of the most important seaports in Vietnam.

This marks an important step to strengthen the relationship between the two seaports in the Central and Northern regions, aiming for the common development goal and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnam's maritime industry on the international maritime map. Da Nang Port commits to working with Hai Phong Port to realize the exchanged contents into specific cooperation programs, bringing practical benefits to both sides.
