On August 27, Mr. Vo Trong Hai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, issued an urgent dispatch, requesting departments, branches and localities to concentrate all resources to quickly overcome the consequences, ensuring the opening of the 2025-2026 school year as planned.
According to the direction, the People's Committees of communes and wards must urgently coordinate to support educational facilities in cleaning classrooms, repairing damaged items, and adding desks, chairs, books, and damaged teaching equipment before August 28; at the same time, review and promptly support students in difficult circumstances and affected by storms and floods so that they can go to school with peace of mind.

The Department of Education and Training is in charge of reviewing and synthesizing the damage across the province, coordinating with departments and branches to advise on solutions, prioritizing urgent works to serve the opening ceremony. The education sector also directs schools to develop temporary teaching plans at heavily damaged schools, while promoting propaganda and instructing students on skills to prevent risks of natural disasters, drowning, and electric shock.
Military, police, medical , electricity, telecommunications, water supply forces, etc. were mobilized to support cleaning, troubleshooting, ensuring electricity, water, communications and environmental sanitation in schools. The Fatherland Front and organizations called for support and encouragement for teachers and students in affected areas to quickly stabilize their spirits and enter the new school year.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the entire education sector and localities to make the greatest efforts to complete the remedial work before September 5, ensuring the safe and on-time opening ceremony.
