Hanoi installs nearly 300 LED screens for September 2nd celebration and parade

In order to serve the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2, the Hanoi People's Committee deployed the installation and mobilization of nearly 300 LED screens and loudspeaker systems throughout the area, serving people to directly follow the parade and marching activities.

According to the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , the arrangement of the equipment system aims to meet the monitoring needs of a large number of people, reducing the pressure on Ba Dinh Square - the place where the official celebration and parade are held. At the same time, it contributes to spreading the exciting atmosphere, arousing patriotism and national pride among the people of the capital.

Hanoi City will install many LED screens to serve the parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Specifically, the city will install 14 LED screens at 11 locations on 3 parade routes; 7 screens at 6 gateways to the capital; 136 screens at public locations arranged by local authorities (priority will be given to using available equipment at agency headquarters, cultural houses, schools, stadiums, etc.). Along with that, 127 LED screens currently in operation managed by businesses in the area will also be mobilized to broadcast promotional and propaganda content about the event.

The latest time to complete the installation of the LED screen system is August 27; the system will operate from August 28 to September 2.

For the loudspeaker system, all equipment is rented specifically for the event, with no requirement for reuse. The parade route of about 10km will be divided into 200 sections (each section is 30-50m apart), with a total of about 400 speakers hanging on electric poles or lamp posts 3.5-4.5m high, ensuring even sound coverage, serving to broadcast commands, marching music and ceremonies according to the operating script of the Organizing Committee.

The installation of the loudspeaker system will be completed before August 20; synchronous testing will take place from August 20 to August 30 (in conjunction with the preliminary and final review schedules of the City People's Committee and the Central Steering Committee). The system will officially operate on September 2.

The Hanoi People's Committee requires all equipment to meet technical and aesthetic standards, operate safely, ensure outdoor image and sound quality, and comply with regulations on information security, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental protection.
