According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from this afternoon to tonight, the rain-causing forms such as storm circulation No. 5 and humid southeast winds will no longer affect Hanoi , so the rain will stop and some areas will be sunny. From midnight to the morning of August 28, some places will have intermittent light rain, then the weather will clear up.

On August 29, the weather in the capital will generally have little rain, favorable for preparations for the grand ceremony. From the afternoon of August 29 to the end of August 30, Hanoi will have rain, however the amount of rain will not be too heavy, not causing long and deep flooding like on August 26.
During the holiday, Hanoi is likely to experience light rain on the night of September 1 and the morning of September 2. The meteorological agency recommends that people regularly follow the updates of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting to get the latest information for their daily life and travel plans in the coming days.
Previously, from August 26 to noon on August 27, heavy rains in Hanoi caused about 80 flooding spots in the inner city, including a spot in Duong Dinh Nghe, Cau Giay Ward, where the water was up to one meter deep. Traffic chaos and water flooding into houses disrupted people's lives. As of this morning, Hanoi still had 22 flooded spots.
