According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from this afternoon to tonight, the rain-causing forms such as storm circulation No. 5 and humid southeast winds will no longer affect Hanoi , so the rain will stop and some areas will be sunny. From midnight to the morning of August 28, some places will have intermittent light rain, then the weather will clear up.

On August 29, the weather in the capital will generally have little rain, favorable for preparations for the grand ceremony. From the afternoon of August 29 to the end of August 30, Hanoi will have rain, however the amount of rain will not be too heavy, not causing long and deep flooding like on August 26.

During the holiday, Hanoi is likely to experience light rain on the night of September 1 and the morning of September 2.
