The English exam for grade 10 in Hanoi consists of 40 multiple choice questions with a time limit of 60 minutes. For each correct answer, the candidate gets 0.25 points.

The test is within the students' ability, good students can also do about 80%. The test has about 10 differentiating questions, of which 5 are very difficult, these questions can only be done by candidates with good or excellent academic ability.
According to the assessment of English teachers in the HOCMAIeducation system, this year's English exam is still within the required level. The questions at the recognition and comprehension levels account for about 32/40 questions. The entire city had 12 candidates who needed assistance with the exam due to health problems and needed medical assistance.
In the Literature exam on the morning of June 7, no candidate violated the exam regulations; in the Foreign Language exam on the afternoon of June 7, only 1 candidate violated the regulations by bringing a cell phone into the exam room. At the end of the first exam day, no staff member violated the exam regulations.
The first day of the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools in Hanoi took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. Today's weather was relatively cool and pleasant, favorable for candidates to take the exam and for parents waiting for their children outside. Traffic was basically clear, with no congestion at the exam sites.
As planned, on the morning of June 8, candidates will take the Math exam, the last subject of the exam, for 120 minutes.
