The meeting on September 24 was attended by 27/38 parents of students in class 4/3 of Chuong Duong Primary School. Ms. TPH, the homeroom teacher of class 4/3, said that she had caused parents to misunderstand her intentions through messages in the class group.
"I was wrong when I encouraged parents to equip themselves with laptops, and wrong when I kept the class fund," Ms. H. admitted. She also apologized to the school and the parents of the 4/3 class and promised to correct her mistakes.
Even though she previously "threatened" not to receive the computer or prepare the outline, Ms. H. still calculated the two expenses for the computer and speaker before handing them over to the parents for management, and then had to return these two expenses.
Parents also complained about not knowing their children's learning content so they could not study with them; Ms. H. did not teach according to the schedule; her messages and attitude made parents feel insecure...
Regarding these matters, Ms. H. said she will regularly contact parents, take better care of students, and hopes parents will give her a chance.
According to the parents of class 4/3, when the school organized a dialogue and reconciliation session with Ms. H. on September 24, although she admitted her mistake and apologized, her attitude was still "insincere."
Even when parents gave their opinions, Ms. H. showed an attitude of not listening and calmly scrolling through her phone right in the meeting. Therefore, even though the school organized a mediation, 25/27 parents still signed a petition to change the homeroom teacher or transfer classes for their children.
The lock was rusty but Ms. H. quoted the purchase price of 160,000 VND and deducted from the parents' contribution.
