The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs currently manages and uses 5 housing and land facilities including the headquarters of the following units: Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Provincial Employment Service Center; Comprehensive Social Protection Center 1; Center for Nursing for People with Meritorious Services and Social Protection; Center for Cemetery Management and Reception of Relatives with a total area of 184,537 m2 .

In 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 895/QD-UBND dated April 19, 2024 approving the plan to rearrange public assets, which are houses and land of units under the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, including approving the houses and land of the headquarters of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Provincial Employment Service Center in the form of "retaining and continuing to use"; the remaining 3 units were assigned the plan to rearrange houses and land in the form of "transfer", but have not been approved in the form of "retaining and continuing to use".

The Vocational College was merged with the Provincial Agricultural College into Quang Tri Technical College in 2020 according to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee. However, Decision 895/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee still recognized the Vocational College as a unit under the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and approved the rearrangement plan in the form of "transfer".

The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs requests the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council a decision to transfer public assets such as houses and land to units for direct use and adjust the plan to rearrange houses and land of units in the form of "retaining and continuing to use". For public assets such as houses and land at the headquarters at 179 Ly Thuong Kiet (former Vocational College), the competent authority is requested to issue a decision to transfer to the new unit according to regulations.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Tran Huy requested the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to fully absorb the opinions at the meeting to complete the report. At the same time, proactively coordinate with departments and branches to have a plan to arrange and handle public assets such as houses and land. Coordinate with related districts to ensure the adjustment of office space in accordance with the general planning of the locality.
