Gasoline prices turn to decrease, RON95 reaches over 23,500 VND/liter

DNO - On the afternoon of February 22, the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade adjusted the retail prices of gasoline and oil in the country. In general, the prices of gasoline and oil products tend to decrease (except for fuel oil).

Specifically, after making provisions and spending the Price Stabilization Fund, the selling prices of popular gasoline products on the market are as follows: RON92 gasoline decreased by VND356/liter, down to VND22,475/liter and lower than RON95-III gasoline (the popular type on the market) by VND1,124/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND320/liter to VND23,599/liter.

Similar decreases were recorded for oil products, specifically: diesel 0.05S decreased by VND451/liter, down to VND20,910/liter; kerosene decreased by VND300/liter, down to VND20,921/liter.

In particular, fuel oil 180CST 3.5S has a slight increase of 23 VND/kg, up to 15,929 VND/kg. Thus, since the beginning of 2024 until now, domestic gasoline prices have increased 5 times and decreased 3 times.

In this adjustment period, the joint ministries continue to set aside the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for fuel oil at 300 VND/kg, and do not set aside the Price Stabilization Fund for RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil and kerosene.

Do not use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.
