According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, from 3:00 p.m. today, January 16, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 319 VND/liter, to 20,750 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 201 VND/liter, the new price is 21,220 VND/liter.
In addition, diesel price increased by 539 VND/liter, to 19,782 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 462 VND/liter, selling price is 19,706 VND/liter and mazut increased by 999 VND, to 17,181 VND/kg.
This is the third gasoline price adjustment since the beginning of 2025. During this adjustment period, the joint ministries did not set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline products.
The environmental protection tax on gasoline (except ethanol) will remain at VND2,000 per liter until the end of 2025, according to a resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Each liter or kilogram of diesel, fuel oil, lubricants, and grease is subject to 1,000 VND of this tax; and 600 VND for kerosene. This is direct support from the State to help people and businesses recover, develop production, business, and develop the socio -economy.
