Impact factors
US President Donald Trump has warned that he will tighten sanctions on Russia if peace talks in Ukraine do not progress in the next two weeks. He has also raised the possibility of imposing heavy tariffs on India because of its large purchases of Russian oil. Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance revealed that Moscow has made some concessions during the negotiations.
The situation became even more tense when a major oil refinery in Russia caught fire after a UAV attack. The plant has a capacity of about 100,000 barrels/day, mainly for export.
