Based on recent market developments, domestic coffee prices on June 25, 2025, according to experts, farmers' limited sales have reduced immediate supply, while export enterprises have not increased orders significantly. This creates a fragile equilibrium, making it difficult for domestic coffee prices to have a major breakthrough without the push from the international market or new stimulus factors.

In the context of market fluctuations, experts recommend that coffee growers focus on improving product quality and investing in deep processing to increase value. At the same time, expanding domestic consumption channels and cooperating with processing enterprises will help reduce dependence on traditional export markets.

Farmers in low-yielding areas should consider switching to more suitable crops and take advantage of technical assistance programs to optimize production efficiency. Proactively adapting to international market fluctuations will be key to maintaining a competitive advantage in the long term.

New York Arabica Coffee Price June 25, 2025

In today's trading session, June 25, 2025, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York Stock Exchange was as follows: September 2025 futures reached 326.55 cents/lb; December 2025 futures were 320.60 cents/lb; March 2026 futures were 315.25 cents/lb; and May 2026 futures were 309.75 cents/lb.

The main driver of the rally was weather concerns in Brazil, the world’s largest coffee producer, as frost risk threatened the crop. Short covering by investors following the previous sell-off triggered a wave of technical buying, pushing prices higher. At the same time, robusta inventories fell to a one-month low, further reinforcing the bullish trend.

Global financial factors also contributed to support. A slightly weaker US dollar and positive signals from peace talks in the Middle East encouraged money to return to agricultural commodities, including coffee.

According to a report from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), global coffee production in the 2025–2026 crop year is expected to increase slightly. Vietnam is forecast to reach 31.5 million bags, up 8% compared to the previous crop year. Brazil maintains its leading position with an estimated output of 66 million bags, up 1%.

Indonesia, one of the leading robusta exporters, is expected to produce 11.5 million bags, with robusta accounting for 10 million bags and arabica around 1.5 million bags. Honduras is also expected to see production increase, reaching 6 million bags, up 6% from the previous year. These figures suggest that global supplies remain ample, with the potential for price pressure if demand does not increase accordingly.
