Garnacho leaves MU

Alejandro Garnacho's future at Manchester United is officially over.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both the "Red Devils" board and coach Ruben Amorim have agreed to let the Argentine star leave this summer transfer window. This is the result of a series of simmering tensions between Garnacho and Amorim in recent months, when the 20-year-old winger is no longer part of the Portuguese coach's rebuilding plans.

Despite his young age, Garnacho has made 144 appearances for United, scoring 26 goals and assisting 22 - impressive figures. However, in the context of the Manchester team entering a major overhaul, Garnacho is just part of a long list of stars preparing to leave Old Trafford, along with Antony, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.

As well as cleaning up the squad, United have successfully recruited Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5m and continue to pursue Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo - although a £55m (plus add-ons) offer was rejected. The team are also looking for a midfielder, a striker and possibly a goalkeeper if Andre Onana leaves.

On the other hand, Garnacho has become the target of many Premier League giants. Journalist Romano revealed that three teams in the league have proactively contacted him to explore the situation. Chelsea is the most prominent name, as the London team has been following Garnacho since January and sees him as a suitable piece for the youth team.

Bayer Leverkusen have also expressed interest, but financial capacity is considered a major barrier. Several Serie A teams have also contacted, but the most likely possibility is that Garnacho continues to fight in the Premier League - just in a different MU shirt. The prospect of an "old star" of Old Trafford exploding in a familiar environment is very close.
