Strange service for football stars

Premier League stars can sign up for a £1,700-a-month online butler service.

Amslux is an app that offers everything from private jets, vacation villas, 5-star hotels, VIP event tickets to designer shoes and handbags. The app is marketed as an “exclusive lifestyle management service for the football elite,” offering assistance with travel, fashion , and booking tickets for special events.

This is an Amsterdam-based company, founded 6 years ago by three close friends Emmanuel Ntow, Ward Struwer and Mitchell Spel. Amslux's loyal customers include Liverpool's Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch, Manchester United's Joshua Zirkzee and Man City's new signing Tijjani Reijnders.

Notably, many players have made unbelievable requests. One Bundesliga player once asked Amslux to buy him a Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 watch worth £105,000. They also asked Amslux to handle an order for a £20,000 handbag and £10,000 designer shoes.

However, not all requests go smoothly. One unnamed player even got into trouble with the law. "The player contacted us urgently via Instagram, asking to book a private jet to Ibiza because all commercial flights were cancelled," co-founder Emmanuel said.

"We did our best to handle it, and he was very satisfied. But when he came back, he asked to bring two girls from Ibiza. Everything was prepared, but after the plane landed, we received a strange call. He said the two girls were not allowed to enter the country because they were wanted by Interpol," Emmanuel added.

However, most requests are more straightforward. “We offer personalized travel services, from private villas, luxury yachts, to five-star resorts. All are designed to provide the ultimate experience for our players,” Emmanuel concludes.
