Since 2018, Warburg Pincus has joined hands with Becamex to establish the BW joint venture. To date, BW has emerged as Vietnam’s leading industrial real estate leasing platform, playing an essential role in enhancing Vietnam’s manufacturing value chain by providing modern ready-built infrastructure, multi-storey warehouses and international standards for global manufacturers looking to rapidly expand in Vietnam.

This year, BW continues to take advantage of the trend of supply chain diversification and increasing FDI capital, with leasing activities developing rapidly, expected to reach nearly 1 million square meters of construction floor space in 2024.

Many businesses from diverse industries from China choose BW's warehouses to develop their business in Vietnam.

“As a leading industrial developer, we are pleased to see more tenants from diverse industries choosing to lease more space from China to Vietnam. In addition to the electronics, automotive and renewable energy industries, we are now welcoming businesses from other sectors choosing Vietnam as a new manufacturing hub,” said Lance Li, CEO of BW. Some of BW’s recent tenants in 2024 include Skyworth (10,000 m2 – BW Nhon Trach 2; Coherent (50,000 m2 – BW Nhon Trach 1); Chevron (50,000 m2 – BW My Phuoc 4).

Skyworth - China's leading multi-industry corporation, officially inaugurated a new factory at BW Nhon Trach 2.

In addition to BW, Warburg Pincus has invested in Vincom Retail, a leading retail real estate brand in Vietnam; MoMo, a leading digital financial services platform in Vietnam; Techcombank, one of the largest joint stock commercial banks in Vietnam; and Lodgis, a leading hospitality platform in Southeast Asia. The firm has invested over $2 billion in Vietnamese companies, making it one of the largest and most active global private equity funds in the market.

BW Industrial Development Joint Stock Company (BW) is Vietnam's leading industrial and logistics real estate platform, with over 9 million square meters of industrial land in prime locations, with a portfolio of over 50 projects in 12 key provinces in Vietnam.
