Nearly 600 thousand visitors came to Lam Dong to visit and relax during the September 2nd holiday

Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued Report No. 61/BC-SVHTTDL on cultural, sports and tourism activities during the National Day holiday on September 2, 2025.

The report said that in order to prepare conditions to welcome and serve tourists to Lam Dong province on the occasion of National Day September 2 and Lam Dong Province's Tourism Destination Experience Month in 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Document No. 655/SVHTTDL-QLDL dated August 19, 2025 requesting the People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones, Management Boards of tourist areas, destinations, national parks, and tourism service businesses in the province to prepare conditions to welcome, serve and ensure safety for tourists on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Lam Dong Province's Tourism Destination Experience Month in 2025.

In which, organize 3 special art programs to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) with the theme "Proud of My Fatherland"; Participate in the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements of Lam Dong Province on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) from August 28 to September 5, 2025 in Hanoi; Special exhibition with the theme "Echoes of Independence Day" at Lam Dong Provincial Museum; exhibition with the theme "Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a man" at Duc Thanh Relic Site - Ho Chi Minh Museum Binh Thuan... This year's National Day holiday on September 2nd lasts for 4 consecutive days, creating favorable conditions for organizing short-term travel. Lam Dong estimates the total number of tourists visiting and staying in the province during the holiday (from August 30 to September 2, 2025) at about 590,000, an increase of about 6.8% over the same period in 2024, of which international visitors are estimated at about 10,500. Revenue is estimated at about 715 billion VND.

During the holidays, the number of guests staying at accommodation establishments in the province is concentrated on August 30 - September 1, 2025. The average room occupancy rate is about 60 - 70%; the room occupancy rate of 3 - 5 star hotels is about 75 - 85%.

Security, order, safety for tourists, civilized lifestyle, cultural behavior towards tourists, ensuring environmental sanitation, food hygiene and safety, fire prevention, traffic safety and order, rescue, prices in most tourist areas and tourist attractions in the whole province are basically guaranteed.

Units, Management Boards of tourist areas, spots, national parks strengthen, regularly inspect, and rectify recreational activities on the sea, lakes, etc. At the same time, strengthen reminders and rectify businesses and tourism establishments to strictly implement the dropping of flags and buoys to limit safe swimming areas according to regulations, organize rescue forces and means well, remind rescue teams to be on duty to rescue at locations with many tourists swimming in the sea. No incidents related to safety and security of tourists were recorded during the holiday.
